ITHACA, N.Y. -- Four members of the men's track & field team have been named to the Snited States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team. The team honors athletes who have maintained a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.30 and posted an NCAA Championships qualifying mark during either the indoor or outdoor season. Freshman Chris Mastrosimone (Fairport/Fairport) and juniors Kyle Devins (Ausable Valley/Peru), Max Orenstein (Trumbull/Trumbull, Conn.) and Jeff Wetmore (Bemus Point/Maple Grove) were honored from Ithaca.

ITHACA, N.Y. -- Ithaca's football team is ranked 16th in Lindy's preseason poll. The Bombers went 7-3 last fall to record their 39th straight winning season (the second-longest active streak at any level of college football) and return 32 letter winners. Ithaca opens its season Sept. 4, hosting St. Lawrence at Butterfield Stadium.

ITHACA, N.Y. -- The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) has named Ithaca as the Northeast Region Coaching Staff of the Year. The Bomber staff, led by head coach Deb Pallozzi, guided the team back to the World Series after winning Empire 8 regular-season and conference tournament titles.

ITHACA, N.Y. -- For the 10th time in the 10 years that the award has been given, Ithaca College won the Empire 8 Commisioner's Cup. The Commisioner's Cup is given to the conference's most successful athletic department, based on standings and championship tournament results in Empire 8 sports.

ITHACA, N.Y. – Ithaca College finished in 22nd place in the final standings for the Learfield Directors' Cup. The standings for the Directors’ Cup (formerly known as the Sears Cup) are determined by a school’s finish in NCAA playoff competition in selected sports. Ithaca is one of nine schools to have placed in the top 30 in each of the award's first 15 years. With 449 schools in Division III (more than any other level of the NCAA), the Bombers’ performance ranks them ahead of 95.1 percent of the schools competing at the Division III level.
