ITHACA, N.Y. – A total of 10 new members have been elected to the Ithaca College Athletic Hall of Fame. The annual induction ceremony will be held Oct. 10, in the Emerson Suites on campus as part of Ithaca's Homecoming Weekend. The 10 inductees represent nine sports. Joining the Hall of Fame will be Sue Bender ’93, Barry Cohen ’80, Michael Ferrara ’80, TJ Gamba ’87, Lisa Gould ’87, Renee Helbok ’99, Chris Matteotti ’96, Margaret Pilling ’81, Todd Stephan ’96 and Nicki Swan ’97.

Ithaca men’s lacrosse coach Jeff Long has been elected to the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame. The eight-member class of inductees was chosen from a group of 24 finalists and the newest hall of famers will be inducted Nov. 7 in Hunt Valley, Md.

was a first-team selection and earned all-America honors for the third consecutive year. He is the program's sixth three-time USILA all-American. Senior attackman Alec Siefert

received honorable mention.

ITHACA, N.Y. - Two Ithaca men's lacrosse seniors will play in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association North/South Senior All-Star Games Friday afternoon in Boston. Defender Neth Wiedemann (Episcopal School of Dallas/Dallas, Texas) and attackman Kevin Bush (Arapahoe [Colo.]/St. George Island, Fla.) will represent the Bombers as members of the North All-Stars.

ITHACA, N.Y. – Four members of the Ithaca men’s lacrosse team, including three First Team selections, were named to the 2009 New York State All-Stars for Division III men’s lacrosse. Senior defender Neth Wiedemann (Episcopal School of Dallas/Dallas, Texas) was a First Team selection and was also named Defensive Player of the Year. Senior attackman Alec Siefert (Duxbury/Duxbury, Mass.) and junior midfielder Nic Heckman (Sparta/Sparta, N.J.) joined Wiedemann on the First Team. Sophomore goalie David Gal (Loomis Chaffee [Conn.]/Amherst, Mass.) was on the Second Team.
