Berea, Ohio--The women's cross country team will compete at Saturday's NCAA National Championship, hosted by Baldwin-Wallace at Highland Hills Golf Course in Highland Hills, Ohio. Ithaca has qualified for nationals in 10 straight seasons, and rank sixth all-time with 19 total berths. The Bombers enter the race ranked 24th in the country.

ITHACA, N.Y.--The Bombers moved up a spot in the final poll released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USFTCCCA) and are now ranked 24th in the nation entering Saturday's NCAA Championship. ITHACA, N.Y.--Women's cross country freshman Jenn Randall (Cincinnatus Central/Cincinnatus) was named Empire 8 Runner of the Week on Monday, matching the school and conference record set by Lindsey Nadolski in 2008. Randall finished sixth at Saturday's NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship, and was the fastest freshman in the field.

ITHACA, N.Y.--The Bombers were selected as one of 16 at-large teams for competition at Saturday's NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championships. The Bombers have qualified for nationals 19 times, including every season since 2000. The team's run of 10 straight appearances at nationals is the longest such streak in program history. The 2009 national championship will be held at Baldwin-Wallace.

Geneseo, N.Y.--Freshman Jenn Randall (Cincinnatus/Cincinnatus) placed sixth overall to lead the 25th-ranked women's cross country team to a fourth-place showing at Saturday's NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship. Senior Amanda Boccio (Guilderland/Albany) and sophomore Heidi Baumbach (Lake Placid/Lake Placid) joined Randall on the all-region team. The Bombers' showing at the meet allows them to be considered for an at-large bid for the NCAA Championship.
