ITHACA, N.Y. – Senior Katie O’Driscoll (Quincy/Cohasset, Mass.) and sophomore Amy Gefell (Greece Arcadia/Rochester), of the Ithaca College women's crew have earned all-America honors from the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA). O’Driscoll was named to the first team and Gefell was a second-team selection. Ithaca was one of only five schools with more than one all-American.

Cooper River, N.J. -- Ithaca wrapped up competition at the NCAA Championships Saturday with a fourth-place finish in the team standings. The Bombers' varstiy 8 took fourth in the grand final and the second varsity 8 placed sixth in the petite final.

Cooper River, N.J. -- High winds forced the cancellation of nearly all of the races at the ECAC National Invitational Regatta over the weekend. but Ithaca's women's boats were unbeaten in the few races that were held. The varsity 8, second varsity 8, third varsity 8 and novice 8 all won their heats and the fourth-ranked varsity 8 (the only Bomber boat to compete twice) also won its semifinal. Along the way the varsity 8 posted wins over six ranked crews, beating #12 William Smith and #10 Skidmore in its heat and finishing ahead of second-ranked Bates, seventh-ranked Smith, #11 Mount Holyoke and #12 William Smith in the semifinal round.
Selections for the NCAA Championships will be announced Tuesday afternoon.
