Wilkes-Barre, Pa. – The Ithaca wrestling team (19-1) extended its school record by winning its 19th match of the season in Friday’s 26-10 victory at Wilkes (21-6). The Bombers recorded major decisions in five of their seven wins in the match-up of Division III’s two winningest teams. The victory was #150 for Ithaca coach

Oneonta, N.Y. – The Ithaca wrestling team (18-1) extended its school record by winning its 18th match of the season in Wednesday’s 42-3 romp at Oneonta (9-7). The Bombers earned bonus points in seven of their nine victories. Only one Division III team has won more dual matches this winter.

Clifton Park, N.Y. – Stepping up two divisions in competition, the Bomber wrestling team (17-1) split two matches with Division I opponents Sunday, beating Boston University 28-6 and losing 35-3 to Binghamton. Ithaca has already set a school record for wins in a season and only one Division III team has won more dual matches this winter.

Ithaca, N.Y. -- The wrestling team (16-0), ranked fourth in Division III, placed fifth at the New York State Collegiate Championships in fourth place. The Bombers were first among the nine Division III schools at the 18-team event, which features Division I, II and III programs. Five Bombers advanced to Sunday's championship semifinals (as many as the other eight Division III schools had combined) and two others competed in Sunday's consolation round. All seven earned all-state honors.
