Volleyball Team Wins First Empire 8 Match

Reigning Empire 8 Player of the Week Amanda Hubbard recorded her sixth double-double of the season.
Oneonta, N.Y. – The Bombers defeated Hartwick 3-0 (30-19, 30-18, 30-18) in their first conference contest of the season. Freshman Corrina Doctor (Skaneateles/Skaneateles) recorded a team-high 33 assists and added 10 digs in the match.
 
Junior Amanda Hubbard (Horseheads/Horseheads) recorded 17 kills and 13 digs to notch her sixth double-double of the season, while classmate Katie Hause (St. Mary’s/Colorado Springs, Colo.) registered 14 kills and 7 digs

Ithaca plays at the RIT Invitational Sept. 15-16. The Bombers will open the invitational against Geneseo and Clarkson on Friday at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., respectively.

Men's Swimming and Diving

Rapp was a double winner and swam on a winning relay team as Ithaca remained unbeaten and handed Cortland its first loss of the year.
