Bradley profile
Tracy Bradley shot .500 from the field.

Canton, N.Y.--Ithaca lost its final game of the semester, falling 67-45 to St. Lawrence (7-2). Senior forward Tracy Bradley (Lewiston/Brunswick, Maine) led the Bombers (4-5) in with 14 points. Sophomore Elissa Klie (Ramapo/Wyckoff, N.J.) scored 13.

Ithaca nearly rallied from a 16 point halftime deficit, with a free-throw from Bradley capping an 18-3 Bomber rally that cut the Saints’ lead from 31-15 to 34-30 with 14 minutes to play. Bradley and Klie scored all the Ithaca points in the run, with Klie making Ithaca’s lone three-pointer of the afternoon.

Klie and junior Lindsay Brown (Immaculate/Danbury, Conn.) each picked up steals in the half’s opening minutes. Brown led all players with four steals on the afternoon.

St. Lawrence regained control of the game, however, scoring the game’s next six points. Brown and freshman Jessica Farley (Pine Valley Central/South Dayton) made consecutive baskets to cut the lead to three points at 40-37, but a string of 14 unanswered Saint points put the game out of reach in its closing minutes.

Junior Katherine Bixby (Germantwon Friends/Philadelphia, Pa.) led the Bombers with six points and six assists.

Ithaca returns to action January 2 at Elmira, the team’s Empire 8 opener.
