Ithaca Places 14th In Directors' Cup Standings
The football team made one of Ithaca's 14 NCAA playoff appearances in 2007-08

ITHACA, N.Y. – Ithaca College finished in 14th place in the final standings for the U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup standings. The standings for the Sports Academy Directors’ Cup (formerly known as the Sears Cup) are determined by a school’s finish in NCAA playoff competition in selected sports. Ithaca, who placed 21st in last year's standings, is one of nine schools to have placed in the top 30 in each of the award's first 12 years (along with Amherst, Calvin, Cortland, Emory, Middlebury, College of New Jersey, Williams and Wisconsin-La Crosse).

Ithaca received points for post-season appearances in baseball, women’s crew, women's cross country, football, men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse, women's soccer, softball, women’s swimming & diving, women’s outdoor track & field, women’s tennis and wrestling.
