Bomber Football Team Raising Money For Bath VA Hospital
Bath Veterans Visit

ITHACA, N.Y. -- In conjunction with Saturday's game against Alfred, the Bomber football program is sponsoring a program to raise money for needed programs at the Bath VA Medical Center by collecting money through a free well offering at the end of the game. Members of the Ithaca Elks Lodge will be collecting the money for the football team.

For over 40 years, Ithaca College -- in conjunction with the Ithaca Elks Lodge, has hosted veterans from the Bath VA Medical Center for a football game. For the past few years, members of the football team have traveled to the Medical Center for an “Ithaca College Football team Fun day”.

A strong relationship has developed between the veterans and the players and the football program wants to acknowledge the sacrifice the veterans have made as Veterans Day approaches by assisting in needed programs at the Medical Center.
