Men's Tennis Team Loses to Skidmore

Rochester, N.Y. - The Ithaca men's tennis team (1-1) lost 7-2 to Skidmore in the semifinals of the Flower City Tournament in Rochester. Ithaca earned wins by Josh Rifkin (Homestead/Fort Wayne, Ind.) at first singles and the second doubles team of Daniel Wolk (The Field School/Potomac, Md.) and Jimmy Newton (Florida Virtual School/Englewood, Fla.).
Rifkin won his match in three sets 6-1, 3-6, 10-5 and Wolk and Newton were 8-6 winners at second doubles.
The Bombers will play for third place in the tournament on Sunday morning.
