ITHACA, N.Y. – Ithaca College finished in 22nd place in the final standings for the Learfield Directors' Cup. The standings for the Directors’ Cup (formerly known as the Sears Cup) are determined by a school’s finish in NCAA playoff competition in selected sports. Ithaca, who placed 20th in last year's standings, is one of nine schools to have placed in the top 30 in each of the award's first 15 years (along with Amherst, Calvin, Cortland, Emory, Middlebury, College of New Jersey, Williams and Wisconsin-La Crosse).

With 449 schools in Division III (more than any other level of the NCAA), the Bombers’ performance ranks them ahead of 95.1 percent of the schools competing at the Division III level.
