#26 Chapman Scores Late For 8-2 Softball Win Over #4 Bombers

Cait Dolan has seven hits so far this season

Orange, Calif. -- The fourth-ranked softball team (2-3) lost 8-2 to #26 Chapman Tuesday.

Ithaca had rallied from a 2-0 deficit with single runs in the fifth and sixth. Sophomore first baseman Caitlin Ryan (Allentown/Clarksburg, N.J.) drove in senior second baseman Jessica Stangarone (Brewster/Brewster), who'd led off with a triple, for Ithaca's first run and freshman left fielder Cait Dolan (Victor/Farmington) scored the tying run on an infield error.

Dolan finished with two of Ithaca's four hits.

The Bombers continue their spring trip play Wednesday, facing Haverford and Azusa Pacific.
