2005: Kitenplon, a first-team Empire 8 all-star, was the league’s highest-scoring placekicker and his 48 extra points set a school record. Kitenplon raised his career totals to 216 points, 29 field goals and 129 extra points; all three totals are records for Bomber kickers and his point total ranks third overall on the program’s all-time list. He tied a school record with eight extra points in the win at Hartwick and added a 37-yard field goal; his performance earned him a spot in D3football.com’s Team of the Week. He scored 12 points at Lycoming, kicking a career-best three field goals (including a 41-yard effort in overtime). He was named Ithaca’s Outstanding Specialist after that game and also after the Buffalo State win. He made three tackles, including a pair of solo stops. He opened the season by making his first 27 extra-point attempts.

2004: Kitenplon was a second-team pick to the Empire 8 all-star team for the second year in a row. He became the fifth Bomber kicker to reach 100 career points and was named the team’s Outstanding Specialist at the postseason banquet. Kitenplon converted 43 of 50 extra points and tied a school record with nine field goals. He was six-for-six in conversion attempts in the Buffalo State and Lycoming wins. Kitenplon kicked a pair of field goals, including a season-long 39-yard effort, in the win at Cortland. He was named Ithaca’s Outstanding Specialist after the Hartwick, Utica and Springfield wins.

2003: Kitenplon was one of the top newcomers to Ithaca’s special teams, earning second-team all-Empire 8 honors as a placekicker. He scored 13 points in the St. Lawrence win (converting all seven extra-point attempts and a pair of field goal tries, including a career-best 44-yard effort)—the second-highest single-game total ever by a Bomber kicker. He kicked a pair of field goals in the NCAA playoff win at Montclair State, including a 41-yard kick that matched Ithaca’s third longest field goal in NCAA playoff competition. Kitenplon enjoyed a midseason stretch of 26 successful kicks in 27 tries (22 for 23 in extra-point attempts, three-for-three in field goal attempts). He was named Ithaca’s Outstanding Specialist three times.

High School: A 2003 graduate of Admiral Farragut Academy, Kitenplon was coached by Mark Robertson.

Personal: A business administration major, he is the son of David and Ivy Kitenplon.
