2006-07: Heberton ranked third on the team in scoring as a freshman and was a member of the school, conference and conference championship record setting 200-yard medley relay team. She won state and conference titles in the 50-yard freestyle and as a member of the 200- and 400- yard freestyle and 200- and 400-yeard medley relay teams. Each of the relay teams recorded NCAA “B” qualifying times. She was the conference runner-up in the 100-yard backstroke. Heberton’s times in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly rank on the top-10 times list at Ithaca, as do her times as a member of the 200- and 400-yard freestyle and medley relay teams. She was named to the Empire 8 President’s List after the spring semester and received honorable mention to the NSCAA all-academic team.
High School: A 2006 graduate of Darien High School, Heberton was coached by Jason Paige as a member if the swimming & diving team. She was also a member of the volleyball team, earning first-team all-conference and first-team all-state honors. Heberton was honored her senior year as the state MVP and was named the 2005 Volleyball Player of the Year by the Hartford Courant.
Personal: A clinical health studies/physical therapy major, she is the daughter of Pam and Dick Heberton. She is also a member of the volleyball team at Ithaca.
