2007: Kowalsick started all 44 games as a junior, batting a career-best .314 with 44 hits, 27 runs scored, 18 RBI and 12 stolen bases. She’s had a hit in 30 games this season and had 11 multi-hit games. Kowalsick went 2-for-3 with a triple and the first home run of her career and scored both of the Bombers runs in a 2-1 win over Rochester. In the Empire 8 Championship tournament, she batted .500 (7-14) in four games and went 3-for-4 in each of the last two games against St. John Fisher.
2006: Kowalsick started 16 of her 22 games played, batting .289 with 13 hits, 13 runs scored and 10 RBI. She went three-for-three with a double, two RBI and a run scored in the Bombers’ season-opening win over the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and drove in two more runs in Ithaca’s second win of the year over Bethany. Kowalsick went two-for-two with one RBI in wins over Hartwick and Cazenovia.
2005: Kowalsick played in 27 games with three starts. She batted .294 with five hits, seven runs and three RBI. In the second game of a doubleheader against Hartwick she went 3-for-4 with 3 runs and an RBI. Kowalsick did not commit an error all season.
High School: Kowalsick played for Robert Fox at Riverhead High School where she was named to the all-star team and was named all-league her senior year. She was also a captain her junior and senior years.
Personal: A chemistry major, she is the daughter of Tom and Anne Kowalsick.
