2007: Crandall was Ithaca’s third-leading receiver and one of the team’s top special teams players. His averages of 21.5 yards per catch and 24.6 yards per kickoff return both led the team. Crandall’s 88-yard touchdown catch in the Brockport win was the longest reception ever by a Bomber. He also scored on an 83-yard kickoff return in that win and was named Ithaca’s Specialist of the Week. He was also named the team’s top specialist after the Hartwick and Springfield games and was picked as Hustler of the Week following the Cortaca Jug victory. Crandall caught a career-best five passes in the win at Springfield and made three catches against #1 Mount Union in the NCAA playoffs. He recorded six tackles in kick coverage, recovering a pair of fumbles and forcing one.

2006: Crandall played in every game, catching three passes and ranking among Ithaca’s special teams players. His first career catch came in the season-opening win over Huntingdon and he collected a career-best two receptions at St. John Fisher. Crandall averaged 17.8 yards per kickoff return and made six tackles in kick coverage.

2005: Crandall played in all but one game as a reserve wide receiver and one of the team’s top special teams players. He ranked fifth nationally in kickoff return average (27.8 yards per return) and made 10 tackles in kick coverage (fourth on the team). He made a season-best three tackles in the Brockport win and matched that total against Union in the NCAA playoffs. Crandall averaged 27.0 yards on six kickoff returns in that game, including a career-long 67-yard effort on the opening kickoff.

High School: A 2005 graduate of Herkimer Central School, Crandall was coached by Alan Steele. He was an all-state selection and was named Mohawk Valley Player of the Year as a senior.

Personal: A legal studies major, he is the son of John Crandall and Susan Schrader.
