2009 Game-by-Game Stats
2008: Heckman was Ithaca’s fourth-leading scorer, and his 27 assists rank among the program’s 20-best single-season performances. His 14 goals during the NCAA playoffs led the team and he recorded consecutive five-point efforts in the Williams and Western New England wins. He scored three goals in the quarterfinals win over the Golden Bears and assisted on two, including the overtime game-winner. Heckman scored a career-best five goals in the win at Hartwick. He topped his 2007 scoring total two games into the season, assisting on a pair of goals in the win at Lycoming and recording three goals and an assist in the Scranton victory. He picked up a career-best five points (including his first career game-winning goal) in the win at Alfred.
2007: Heckman saw action in nine games in his freshman season, recording two goals and three assists for five points. He recorded two assists against Elmira and scored a goal and handed out an assist in a win over Utica. Heckman also scored a goal against Cortland.
Career Stats
High School: A 2006 graduate of Sparta High School, Heckman was coached by Pat Brennan. He was a four-year letter winner as a member of the lacrosse team and was named an all-American his senior year. In 2006, Heckman was named the conference and New Jersey Herald Player of the Year, was a first-team all-state selection and received first-team all-star honors from the Newark Star Ledger and Bergen Daily Record. He earned first-team all conference honors from 2004-06. Heckman also lettered as a member of the soccer team, earning all-county and all-state honors.
Personal: A business administration major, he is the son of Paul and Kathi Heckman. His brother Alex is a senior lacrosse player at Stevens.
