2009 Game-by-Game Stats
2008: Weidemann was one of Division III’s top defenders, earning second-team all-America recognition. He was a first-team selection to the Empire 8 and New York State all-star teams. He ranked second on the team with 65 ground balls and 23 caused turnovers. Wiedemann scored goals against Oneonta and RIT and added a pair of assists (including one in the Empire 8 title game win over RIT). He had 10 games with at least two caused turnovers and picked up a season-best six ground balls in the win over #3 Cortland.
2007: Wiedemann started all 20 games for the Bombers, recording a goal and two assists. He tallied 66 ground balls and was second on the team with 29 caused turnovers. Wiedemann earned first team all-Empire 8 honors and received honorable mention to the USILA all-American team.
2006: Wiedemann started all 17 games as a freshman, collecting a team-leading 65 ground balls and registering a team-best eight caused turnovers. He retrieved a season-high eight ground balls in a win over Alfred and forced a season-best two turnovers in a win over St. John Fisher in the ECAC playoffs.
Career Stats
High School: A 2005 graduate of the Episcopal School of Dallas, Weidemann was coached by Kevin Barnicle. A team captain, Wiedemann earned all-America, all-state and all-district honors. He was also a member of the football and basketball teams. He was a two-time captain and earned all-conference accolades in football.
Personal: A television-radio major, he is the son of Harden and Cynthia Wiedemann.
