ITHACA, N.Y. – Four members of the Ithaca College men’s track & field team have been named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Track and Field Team. Only 11 schools had more representatives on the all-academic team, which recognizes student-athletes who have compiled a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.30 and met the NCAA automatic or provisional qualifying mark. Ithaca’s four award winners were more than any other Empire 8 school, produced and no New York had more athletes honored. New York—Sophomore #Max Orenstein# (Trumbull/Trumbull, Conn.) provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 200-meter dash to lead the Bombers at the New York City Qualifying Challenge, held at Icahn Stadium on Randall’s Island.
