Only 11 schools had more representatives on the all-academic team, which recognizes student-athletes who have compiled a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.30 and met the NCAA automatic or provisional qualifying mark. Ithaca&rsquo;s four award winners were more than any other Empire 8 school, produced and no New York had more athletes honored. The team had eight top-10 performances at the meet, and posted five ECAC-qualifying performances in addition to Orenstein&rsquo;s national-caliber run.
